Oconee is full and the surface temperature is between 49 and 52 degrees. The lake is stained in the main river and the larger creeks are clear. Small crankbaits and jigs around docks will get a few bites. Some offwater fish are being caught on jigging spoons in 18 feet of water under the shad. Some fish are being caught with a Carolina rig on long points in 15 to 18 feet of water. Just remember to fish SLOW!!
